Starting my week off RIGHT!!!

Today is such a beautiful day in California. The sun is shinning and the birds are chirpping. The PERFECT day to workout. When I woke up I headed straight to gym.  I ran and walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes for a total of about 2.23 miles then I went onto the eliptical for 15. I was so happy I broke my 30 minutes of cardio and did 45minutes instead…. I also went hiking behind my house in the mountians for about an 1hr!! I am so proud of myself!!

I actually didn’t cheat on my diet this weekend!! Hopefully I can keep my motivation up!!

Newbie vegetarian needing a lil help!!

So one more post for today….I am a newbie vegetarian for about 3months now. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge about how to maintain a good diet without eating meat?

It would also be helpful if you can give me good vegetarian meals because I only know a few!!!! Thanks

My 2pound loss and goals for next week!!!

So this past week went better then expected. I lost two pounds whoo whoo!! I am really happy because even though it’s a little weight lost…at least I lost some for my first week. I really believe that I am sticking to my plan because of buddy slim….so thank you to those who have given me support and advice….it is greatly appreciated!!

Some of the things that I could have done better were that I could have added more time to my workout. I always have just done 30min of cardio…so I now need to do 45min per cardio session.

My goals for next week are:

Drinking more water each day and before each meal/workout.

Adding on more time to my workouts.

Adding weights to my workout 2-3 times a week.

Adding alot more veggies to my diet…I want to look up some great veggie meals that will help shed of some more weight.

 Well I am ready to tackle on another week….good luck to all!

Second day at the gym….

Today was my second day at the gym. I did 20 minutes on the eliptical and 10minutes on the stairmaster. I feel so good after a good workout, but sometimes I feel that I’m not doing enough for a good amount of weight loss. 

I weight 169 and I am 5′6…..does anyone have any suggestions at what I can be doing better? I would greatly appreciate it!!

First day at being healthy

So today is my first actual day that I am dieting and working out. Over the past year I have gained some weight. I feel that I have lost my confidence and just overall feel unhealthy. I am excited to start off fresh and being eating right and working out.
